Charles Petrini-Poli

CEO

Charles is an experienced medical industry executive and innovator that has built a career around creating and advocating solutions and innovations that have the potential to advance humanity. He co-founded ExperTech, the very first “rep-less” service company tailored to the medical implant market, established and managed ST Spine, the most successful medical device distributorship in the world for Biomet Spine, and as the co-founder of STIM-IOM, helped develop one of the first intraoperative monitoring companies in the United States.

As the CEO of simplOR Charles brings a wealth of industry experience, leadership and knowledge that forms the foundation of our innovative service. Aside from work, Charles loves to get out and see the world. He’s fluent in French and frequently utilizes his commercial pilot’s license to travel the globe.

Tony Marino

General Manager

Tony started his career in the medical device industry in spine implant sales, holding roles everywhere from Product Specialist to Regional Sales Manager for multiple manufacturers and distributors. With a breadth of medical industry experience under his belt, he went on to co-found ExperTech, a first-of-its-kind business, that provided new and comprehensive solutions for the medical device industry and reduced costs of implants while standardizing clinical support in the OR.

Now, as the General Manager he lives by the motto, “Just because that's the way it’s always been done, doesn't mean it’s the best way to do it.” and is motivated to continue challenging and innovating the status quo of how sales reps and hospitals work together. Tony holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Penn State University.

Ronald J. Antonelli, Esq.

VP Legal and VP Sales

Ronald is a licensed North Carolina attorney, experienced in corporate legal matters involving internal corporate practice, legal compliance, and employee and 3rd-party contracts. Throughout his career, he has effectively navigated multiple manufacturer downsizing campaigns as legal counsel and acted as in-house counsel for a start-up surgical case management company offering an alternative model to improve hospital control in the OR.

In his current role, he is spearheading growth efforts for simplOR sales teams throughout the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwestern United States. When he’s not busy working, you’ll find him spending time with family, enjoying the ocean or in winter, finding the large snow-covered mountains and steep slopes to feed his snow-skiing addiction.

Brian Piccirilli

Sales Manager

Brian is an experienced and talented health industry expert and sales professional. The focus throughout his career has been serving hospital and non-acute healthcare organizations by driving cost saving and best practice sharing opportunities. He is based in Wilmington, NC, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Cape Fear Clinic focusing on board development and fundraising

Currently, Brian serves as the Regional Sales Manager with simplOR. His efforts are focused on advancing the footprint and impact of simplOR to new healthcare systems across the nation. Brian is a ham radio operator and recent graduate from the Cameron School of Business at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, holding a BS in Business Administration, concentrating in Operations Management and Project Management. And if you’re ever in town, he’s always up for a round of golf.

Nikki Boucard

VP of Operations

Born in California, raised in Australia, and now living in France, Nikki has crossed the Pacific more times than she can count. After spending almost ten years in the music industry as a tour coordinator, Nikki moved to San Francisco and went to culinary school. She then went on to manage a number of fine dining restaurants, before taking a position at OpenTable as a project manager. She quickly moved into a role with the global operations team, where she helped build and manage customer onboarding strategies.

At simplOR, Nikki provides support to all of our teams in a way that promotes an effective smooth-running organization. Now living in the Loire Valley in France, Nikki spends her free time indulging in her love of good food and wine, and running a small photography business with her husband.

Enid Courtney

VP of Finance

Enid is a chartered accountant ACA CA(SA) with over 20 years of experience in the accounting industry having worked in the US, Europe and South Africa. Holding several roles ranging from auditor and later technical accounting adviser with the Big4, Corporate Controller, and Company Technical Accounting Advisor, she has experience in advising group companies on international consolidation and disclosure, US GAAP to IFRS conversion, and the management of complex back-office processes and procedures.

As the VP of Finance Enid brings extensive financial experience and an open collaborative communication style aiding her ability to develop effective solutions within the complex global financial environment. When she is not busy working, you would probably be able to find her hiking somewhere in the forests around her home.

Andrew Gerhard

Director of Integration

Andy has more than 10 years of experience working in the OR, providing clinical support for medical device companies. He started his career managing accounts within one of the nation’s top level-one trauma centers. His core area of focus is in spine, acquiring several certifications. Andy has gone on to work with multiple manufactures to develop training programs for complex adult deformity and pediatric deformity.

Andy’s experience provides a critical role within simplOR by helping hospitals fully understand the complex relationship between vendors and hospitals, and to identify more streamlined processes, making ORs more efficient. Andy’s team works with hospitals to develop a plan to customize and best integrate simplOR’s services.

His goal is to have a positive lasting impact on the healthcare industry. “I’ve always considered the patient to be the number one priority and feel like the work we’re doing is focused on ensuring the best outcome for every patient.”

Andy is married with 4 young children and two dogs at home. If he’s not with his family, Andy is likely spending time training for triathlons by biking, running and swimming.
